People often say you have to work hard to succeed, but in truth, you have to work with joy.
Please introduce yourself and share your background.
My name is Michelle Davies, and my business is dedicated to transforming people’s lives through hands-on healing and biofrequency. I’m the author of two books and have been featured as a guest on over 30 podcasts. I have helped people heal in over 57,000 consultations over 28 years.
I began my business journey at the age of 22 when I graduated with an honours degree in osteopathy. My professional training was between 1993 and 1997. But it was at the age of 13 that I decided to train as an osteopath in London.
What inspired you to get into this industry or business? Was there a defining moment that pushed you to take the leap?
My mum was the inspiration behind my decision to go into this natural health business. I was raised by both my mum and dad, but it was my mum’s healing gift that truly shaped me. She’s a healer, just like my grandmother and my auntie — healing runs through the women in my family. It felt like a natural path for me to follow. There wasn’t a single defining moment — it was more like a deep knowing, something I was born into.
What problem does your business solve, and what impact are you hoping to make?
My business helps people who are in pain, whether that pain is emotional, mental, spiritual, or physical. I support them in understanding the root cause of their suffering, rather than just managing symptoms. I empower people with insights and practical actions they can take to allow their body to heal itself. I also use my hands to assess and diagnose what’s causing that person’s suffering. Then, through gentle, precise hands-on techniques, I help activate the body’s own healing response. Miracles happen — what many would call unexplainable shifts take place. My goal is to guide people back to balance, clarity, and wholeness by reminding them of their body’s incredible ability to heal. I treat all ages from the cradle to the rocking chair.
What was the biggest challenge when starting out?
The biggest challenge I faced when starting out was my age — I was only 22. At that time, very few people had even heard of osteopathy, let alone understood what it involved. I had to promote myself and my work in a world that knew nothing about it, and one that heavily relied on pharmaceutical drugs. I was offering a completely different approach — one that empowered people to heal without medication. To overcome this, I used to volunteer and give talks anywhere I could — church halls, health centres, local events — just to explain what I did and show people there was another way to recover.
Who has been your mentor or role model?
My mother was my mentor early on. She was a healer and practiced around 20 different therapies, so I grew up surrounded by natural healing. She was my role model — strong, intuitive, and deeply committed to helping others. Her influence shaped everything I do today. In later years, I have had four mentors. Also attending many self-development events run by Success Resources.
What one decision early on had the greatest impact on your success?
One decision I made early on that had a major impact on my success was choosing to go into business in natural medicine, completely outside and often in contrast to the pharmaceutical industry. It was a bold move at the time, but I knew people needed a more unique and holistic approach to their health. I’ve always believed that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the right conditions. My work is grounded in the terrain theory rather than the germ theory — I focus on creating an internal environment where disease cannot thrive, rather than just fighting symptoms.
A decision later in my career in 2021 changed the course of direction 180 degrees! I decided to take on my Regulator and confront them about restricting my scope of practice with a lawful claim against them for damages caused to me and the public. They retaliated with a fitness to practice case against me, a three-year persecution, criminal conviction of impersonating an osteopath when suspended, and struck me off the register. In the eyes of the public, this was triumph.
How do you define success for yourself and your business?
I define success by attitude. For me, success isn’t just about outcomes — it’s about the energy behind them. Attitude is the result of our thoughts, our emotions, our actions, and ultimately, our true, authentic being. When we live and work from that place, success flows naturally.
A milestone or accomplishment you’re especially proud of:
A milestone I’m particularly proud of is being offered a place to work in Harley Street — the most prestigious address in the world for healthcare. What makes it even more meaningful is that I don’t hold a formal title, I’m not regulated by any governing body, and I don’t have a certificate of registration. Yet the public put me there. That happened because of the results I deliver, not because of a title. It’s a powerful reminder that true credibility comes from impact, not paperwork.
What strategy has helped you grow and scale your business?
One of the key strategies that helped me grow and scale my business was joining Rethink Academy and committing to their Diamond mentorship programme for 18 months. Having that level of structure, support, and accountability made a huge difference. I’ve also had mentorship with New York Times Bestseller Raymond Aaron and with Entrepreneur Mark Talukdar — both of whom challenged me to think bigger and take bold action.
For promotion, I’ve consistently positioned myself through visibility and authority. I’ve been a guest on over 30 podcasts and published two books — both of which have helped me reach a wider audience, build trust, and share my message of healing on a larger scale.
What gets you through difficult times?
What carries me through difficult times is my connection with God. I know this is my mission — to uplift and serve as many people as possible in the world through healing and transformation.
What daily habits and routines contribute to your success?
I have many daily habits and routines that have contributed to my success. These include meditation, prayer, using AO Scan technology, spending time in nature, regular exercise, targeted supplementation, and red light therapy. These practices keep me grounded, focused, and aligned with my purpose.
If you could go back and give advice to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could go back and give advice to my younger self, it would be this: work for God. Align yourself with your Higher Self and serve from that place, for the highest outcome.
What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting their own business?
I’d say — choose something you deeply care about. Something that feels like a hobby, something you truly enjoy, and that you feel passionate and excited about. When your work comes from that place, it never feels like a burden. It becomes a natural extension of who you are.
What are you currently working towards or excited about?
What I’m looking forward to is launching the Prosperity Reset for Families — an in-person retreat over 7 days, designed for families ready to deeply reset their health and wellbeing together. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that brings together structural alignment, nervous system regulation, biofrequency recalibration, and advanced diagnostics — whether you’re just beginning your healing journey or building on existing progress.
I’m also excited to step more into speaking on stage — transforming lives through powerful, aligned messages shared in person. It’s time to expand the impact from the treatment room to the world stage.
How do you hope to make an impact beyond your business?
In December, I worked at a children’s home in El Salvador, supporting 29 children. My next mission is in Kenya, where I’ll be supporting women and their babies — women who have been displaced and removed from their homes. I want to bring healing to those who wouldn’t normally have access to this kind of support and help them begin their journey of restoration, safety, and empowerment.
How would you sum up your professional experience in one sentence?
I’ve had 28 years of experience, and I would do it all over again. I admire the decisions I’ve made and the impact I’ve had on people around the world.
What’s one piece of advice you’d like to add about building a business?
People often say you have to work hard to succeed, but in truth, you have to work with joy. Be authentic, be safe in yourself, and create safety for others. True success comes from personal integrity and the courage to speak your truth.
What is the biggest thing you’ve learned about business or leadership?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned about business and leadership is the power of connection and teamwork. No success is ever built alone. Relationships — whether with patients, mentors, or team members — are everything.
I’ve also learned, through transformational programmes like Millionaire Mind Intensive, Unleash The Power Within, Guerrilla Business Intensive, Train The Trainer, Never Work Again, that money is energy and adding value is what is most important. It’s a choice expressed through action. Service must always come first. When you focus on giving real value and impacting lives, the money flows naturally.
