Meet Alex, a multifaceted and powerful woman in tech who is passionate about mindfulness, caring for her family, and rising to the challenges the global pandemic is creating.
I met Alex last year at a PDXWIT and LatinX in Tech event where she was a panelist. She greeted me as I entered, initially spoke to me in Spanish, and once she realized I was not bilingual, laughed, and welcomed me to the event as part of the event as well as the Latinx community.
Chatting prior to the event’s start and listening to her speak on the panel illuminated an undeniable truth: Alex is a powerhouse.
Her story, her background and her abilities make her inspiring. I was humbled this year when she asked me to be part of an event she was facilitating with a mission to “to empower and inspire the PDXWIT and LatinX in tech audience.” Speaking on the panel was a blast — I hope she and I can work together more in the future! I am excited to help you all get to know more about Alexandra Collins.
