Before I had an opportunity to work directly with Amber Criner, she had already impressed me by being a learn-it-all. At our company, we offer paid and unpaid time for all employee to learn about almost anything they please. We share what we are learning internally and can see how much time our teammates are investing in their personal development each week. Amber’s learning time was off the charts — and the subject matter she consumed was varied and interesting.
Amber applied for a new videography role, and while she didn’t have copious amounts of experience, she had a growth-mindset and drive. I remembered her commitment to person al development via the online learning platform, and offered her the role. I’ve never regretted that choice! Amber’s results have been amazing, and all credit is to her tenacity and commitment to learning.
