This week, I opened my LinkedIn inbox to an essential question from an amazing woman I’ve known professionally for a while. Her company has moved to a complete work-from-home model due to Covid-19. She was wondering if this could be a catalyst for change, as she has worked in a different location from her boss for a few years. She finds herself doing extra work that goes largely unnoticed. While she says she is not seeking recognition or accolades for this, she’s afraid she could be limiting her career trajectory by not speaking up. Read her question and my response below with minor changes to protect her anonymity. Spoiler alert: I advise her to brag it up!
